Position Summary The Social Service Assistant/Driver primary responsibility is to provide support to the Officers in assistance with social service activities and driving to various locations to pick up food for the feeding San Diego food recovery program. Other responsibilities would include assisting clients with our various social service programs, reporting to feeding San Diego, keeping food areas clean and organized. Responsibilities will also extend to helping drive for Kettles and toys when needed. Essential Functions 
 Working Conditions Ability to walk, stand, bend squat climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Ability to be able to lift up to 50lbs. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects, and reach overhead. Ability to operate computer, fax, and telephone. Minimum Qualifications 
 Skills, Knowledge & Abilities 
 Education 
High School or Equivalent (preferred) 
Experience 
Basic computer knowledge and typing skills including word, publisher, and excel. (required)
  
Minimum five years driving experience (non-professional) (required) Licenses & Certifications 
Driver's License (required)
