Location: Plymouth, IN
Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends
Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Are you mechanically inclined and looking to grow your career in manufacturing? Join our team as an Assistant Operator and play a vital role in helping us deliver high-quality products while maintaining a safe and efficient production environment.

As an Assistant Operator, you'll support the Operator in running the production line, ensuring quality standards are met, and minimizing waste. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with machine setup and operation
• Performing quality checks (length/width, vacuum tests, micrometer readings)
• Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and core cutting machines
• Supporting housekeeping and maintenance tasks
• Staging materials and supplies to reduce downtime
• Collaborating with team members across shifts for smooth transitions
• Following all safety protocols and using required PPE

• Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
• Ability to operate forklifts and other industrial vehicles safely
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP (preferred)

• Indoor, non-airconditioned facility
• Heat and humidity may exceed 90F and 80% respectively
• Exposure to loud noise and moving equipment
• Frequent standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and climbing

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required
• Stable work history preferred
