Silgan Containers is seeking a Plant Controller for our Riverbank plant. The Plant Controller's compensation for this CA-based position is competitive and based on experience, education, and skills typically ranging from $85,000-$110,000 per year.The Plant Controller will drive plant financial operations, and reporting, while enjoying exceptional benefits and a supportive workplace. What You Will Do as a Plant Controller: *Facilitate all plant financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and detailed financial reporting. *Ensure the accuracy of physical inventory through meticulous tracking and reporting systems. *Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports covering labor, materials, manufacturing overhead, distribution costs, returns, and inventory levels. *Maintain and enforce internal controls across plant operations to safeguard assets, mitigate risks, andcomply withSarbanes-Oxley requirements. *Provide leadership to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. *Act as a strategic partner to plant management,providingfinancial insights to guide operational decisions, improve profitability, and mitigate risk. What You Bring: *Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration. *At least 5 years of hands-on cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. *Proficiencyin JD Edwards, Oracle, and OnBase platforms for efficient data management. *Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for developing and analyzing complex financial models. *Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
