About the Role & Team

We're looking for a Senior Product Owner, Finance & GTM Data Analytics to join our Corporate Engineering team. In this highly visible role, you'll own the vision and execution of Amplitude's data and analytics products supporting our Finance and Go-To-Market (GTM) organizations. You'll help define how we collect, model, and transform business data into insights that drive strategic decisions across Sales, Finance, Marketing, and RevOps.

You'll work cross-functionally with Finance, GTM Strategy, RevOps, and Data Engineering to build scalable, trusted data products, ensuring the right stakeholders have the right data at the right time.


As a Senior Product Owner, Finance & GTM Data Analytics, you will:

  • Very hands-on and proficient on Finance ARR and Revenue Reporting, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service Metrics and Reporting.
  • Define and execute the data & analytics roadmap, ensuring alignment with company-wide priorities and strategic outcomes.
  • Partner with Engineering, Analytics, and Business teams to design scalable data models, pipelines, and integrations that support core business operations.
  • Own the lifecycle of data products - from ingestion and transformation to visualization and insight delivery.
  • Serve as the Product Owner for the data platform, managing backlogs, defining user stories, and executing through Agile delivery.
  • Drive consistency and governance in enterprise reporting, ensuring a single source of truth across departments.


You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:

  • Strong domain knowledge in Finance and GTM analytics and reporting - a must-have skill that sets you apart.
  • A background in data product management, analytics engineering, or enterprise data strategy.
  • Experience working with modern data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent Communication and Collaboration skills
  • A knack for translating business needs into data requirements and technical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and master data management practices.
  • A passion for building systems that make data more accessible, actionable, and trustworthy across teams.


At a minimum, you need to have:

  • Overall 15+ years of experience
  • 6+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in enterprise data, analytics, or data platform environments.
  • Proven experience defining data products and working cross-functionally with data engineers and analysts.
  • Solid understanding of SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across both technical and business audiences.
  • Strong Agile/Scrum execution experience - with a track record of managing data-related backlogs and delivering enhancements that improve analytics maturity.

Based on Colorado law, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Colorado. Colorado range: $174,000 - $261,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in New York City, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in New York City. New York City salary range: $193,000 - $290,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $193,000 - $290,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in California outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. California salary range: $174,000 - $261,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington state. Washington salary range: $174,000 - $261,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington only: unlimited PTO, 10 to 13 holidays annually (will vary), medical dental and vision PPO and CDHP plans. Finally, a company sponsored 401(k) retirement plan.
