Accounting Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking an Accounting Specialist with strong administrative and accounting experience to support the accounting portion of our ERP system implementation. This role will focus on vendor onboarding, ACH setup, data verification, and general accounting support within the ERP environment.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Manage vendor communications and coordinate vendor setup and required documentation



  • Process vendor forms and enter new vendors into the ERP system



  • Support ACH setup, check requests, wire transfers, and accurate invoice coding



  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed



  • Verify data entry in the ERP system for accuracy and compliance with contracts



  • Assist with data entry, reconciliations, and other accounting tasks related to AP and implementation efforts




Qualifications:




  • Experience in accounting and administrative support



  • Familiarity with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred but not required



  • Manufacturing industry experience a plus



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong attention to detail



  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines
