Medical Assistant - Neurology Baltimore, MD Pay From: $21 per hour MUST: 3 plus years of experience as a Medical Assistant Medical Assistant diploma Certified or Registered as a Medical Assistant Experience rooming patients and obtaining vitals Comfortable responding to emails and messages and working non clinical as well as clinical Ability to work in a fast paced environment Administer immunization Experienced and proficient with EMR (MedConnect IDX a plus) Ability to obtain vitals and room patients Experience obtaining pre-authorizations Process labs and prescriptions Hard working with a positive attitude Experience triaging patients Confident with clinical ability Strong customer service skills Must have the ability to pick up new skills easily Must be proactive, detailed and organized DUTIES: Duties will include but not be limited to the following: Rooming patients Obtaining vitals Administering injections Assisting with exams and procedures Triaging patients Processing Labs Assist physicians with exams and procedures Enter patient information into computer system-EMR Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
