We're actively seeking a talented Sr Business Systems Analyst, Individual Policy/Enrollment to join our Technology Workforce Benefits Team in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha NE. Relocation assistance may be provided. The Sr Business Systems Analyst Individual Policy/Enrollment will partner with our business functional areas and technology teams to develop and enhance Workforce Benefit Division's group benefits enrollment capabilities and deliver a highly integrated enrollment process from external benefit administrators to internal administration system. This analyst will analyze current and future business needs related to enrollment processing and recommend solutions to improve the automated flow of enrollment transactions from source to individual policy creation. The analyst will analyze complex business problems, work with stakeholders to determine business needs, translate to technical requirements, and recommend solutions. This role will identify gaps in designs, provide group benefits enrollment expertise, and be responsible for the delivery of requirements and technology solutions to provide a scalable enrollment technology product. This role will serve as a valued partner across Workforce Benefits to enable enhanced decision-making and customer service for enrollment by supporting the build of a connected digital framework. How you'll help move us forward:
- Perform analysis, requirement gathering, and solution design on Workforce Benefit's enrollment technology products and identify improvement areas for efficiency, automation, processing speed, data security, and risk prevention.
- Build technology expertise in master and individual policy attributes, validation, and issuance of policies to support administration system enrollment processes
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and conduct analysis to document requirements. Work closely with the solution architect and engineering team to understand technology requirements and limitations.
- Synthesize requirements and architectural design into technical specifications hat developers will use to build and enhance policy and enrollment products
- Draft and maintain a variety of technical documentation, including process and data flow diagrams, technical system specifications, sequence flow diagrams, and source to target data mapping documents
- Working within a Scaled Agile framework, partner with product owners and scrum masters to create measures of success and groom backlog for development stories
- Engage Quality Assurance team during requirements and design to prepare unit and end-to-end test scenarios to ensure compliance with user, business, and functional specifications
- Serve as an escalation point for troubleshooting production issues. Apply problem solving skills and creativity to uncover root causes, provide solutions and ensure timely resolution
- Review bug fix and enhancement requests to prioritize critical fixes and ensure changes both adhere to technical designs and address root cause of issues
The experience you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, analytics or related field.
- 5+ years of experience analyzing, providing supporting documentation for designs and builds of enrollment solutions in Group Benefits insurance or financial services industry
- 5+ years expertise in business rules, policy requirements, and workflows related to enrolling customers in insurance products
- Strong ability to build relationships across the organization and communicate and manage stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work with ambiguity, and drive efforts forward without fully complete information. Strong execution focused mindset.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to independently prioritize tasks based on customer and team feedback
- Experience working within Scaled Agile teams and methodologies
What will make you stand out:
- 3+ years of experience in analysis, requirement development, and delivery using API technologies
- Knowledge of EIS administration system, micro-services environments, and file transfer technologies

The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
