Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. Associate Director PGP Distribution Location: This position can be based at any Linde location globally. Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking an Associate Director PGP Distribution to join our team! The PGP team in the Centre of Excellence (CoE) works closely with colleagues in the respective operating segments and Regions in the areas of Cylinder Filling and Handling, Specialty Gases, Inventory Management, Distribution and Logistics. Our aim is to define and share Operational and Plant Engineering Best Practices, drive productivity improvements in support of regional objectives, jointly define the globally valid KPI's, and identify, promote, and collaborate on global projects, ultimately improving our business and operational performance. The Associate Director, PGP Distribution will drive improvement in the Inventory Management, Network and Supply Chain areas. You will interact with our colleagues in the Regions and will impact our business performance globally. You will also be responsible for defining the best practice process and tools for our cylinder delivery operations areas to build performance improvement. This position will regularly interact with Regional and Segment Cylinder Operations & Distribution leads directly and through Peer Teams, Regional PGP Operational Leadership Teams, Group Safety organisation for Cylinder and operational issues, Linde Digital as a key enabler for the Cylinder operations, and Group Corporate Functions - (examples Productivity, SHEQ, Finance, Procurement, IT). What we offer you! * Competitive compensation * Comprehensive benefits plan (medical, dental, vision and more) * 401(k) retirement savings plan * Paid time off (vacation, holidays, PTO) * Employee discount programs * Career growth opportunities Salary Range- $ 122,025 to $ 178,970 (commensurate with industry experience) What you will be doing: Purpose of the position * Drive and improve operational performance in PGP Distribution areas specifically Logistics, Distribution & Network Design. * Lead implementation of Real Time Execution - RTx - key technology across top 30 PGP operations in Linde * Set strategic direction in Process and Technology for PGP Distribution & Logistics * Provide insight and direction to identify and capitalise on improvement opportunities in PGP Operational activities across regions and networks * Develop, support, and implement a portfolio of global best practices and replication programs * Develop and track strategic and tactical metrics to review performance, identify areas of opportunity and benchmark global distribution processes across Linde packaged gases global operations * Execute comprehensive distribution and logistics performance gap analysis using scheduling & route execution monitoring data, document and develop action plans to execute and deliver improvements * Particular focus will be on scheduling and route execution ensuring the Regions capitalise on the investments in world class systems and concepts * Manage relationship with global vendors in the areas of scheduling and route execution monitoring * Influence consistently and effectively at Segment and Regional operations senior management level to firmly place PGP Distribution and Logistics and best practice at the heart of their organisations * Coordinate with Segments, Central functions and other CoE activities cohesively and productively * Ensure Safety, Service, and Cost agendas are always addressed Principal responsibilities * Implementation of RTx across Linde operations * PGP Distribution & Logistics expert- defining, agreeing and maintaining the Linde best practice and standards. * Serve as a focal point for the value stream with corporate functions such as IT, Digital, Procurement. * Define, agree and maintain Linde standards and best practice for PGP Distribution and Logistics * Establish with regions, programmes of best practice in PGP Operations and inspire implementation across the Regions * Ensure personal influence is effective at senior Regional and segment level through personally leading review activities (including travel to the regions as required) * Push vendors to deliver on enhancements and updates required to maximize distribution and logistics efficiency * Target Regional performance improvements that are consistent with local Segment and Regional objectives - ensure Senior Management agreement in the businesses. * Coordinate global network and PGP productivity calls to maintain active communication channels enabling best practice sharing * Provide regular communications updates targeting key stakeholders Key interfaces * Regional and Segment Cylinder Distribution directly and through Peer Teams * Regional PGP Operational Leadership Teams * Group Safety organisation for Cylinder Distribution and Logistics issues * Linde Digital team as a key enabler for PGP operations * Group Corporate Functions - (Productivity, SHEQ, Finance, Procurement, IT, Digital) Required critical behavior areas (suggest ca. 6) * Visible Leadership consistent with Linde Vision and Values * Strategic Thinking * Achievement * Communications - verbal, written, presenting, etc - at all levels * Partnership Building * Encouragement * Influencing Qualifications

Required qualifications/experience * Full understanding of the Linde Operating Model and how to effectively deliver results within its parameters. * Circ. 7 years in PGP Operations and Distribution roles * Degree level education & Masters in BA and or Logistics * Programming experience with Python * Advanced Excel user * Advanced Tableau and or PowerBI user
