Job Description

The Senior Manager, Strategy & Analytics will be a key member of the Global Card Products team and drive strategic initiatives and projects. The successful candidate will work on innovative strategies that enhance our product and segment value proposition and effectively target our global customer segments. By leveraging market insights, customer analytics, and competitive intelligence, they will develop strategies across product, benefits, loyalty, offers, marketing services, and key customer segments. This role will interact with Regional market and product teams as well as working closely with members of Global Strategy, Data Science, Marketing, Benefits & Sponsorships teams to synthesize a strong product narrative across the organization.

The role requires interactions and collaboration across multiple markets and will be responsible for driving initiatives across multiple workstreams.

Specifically, this role will be expected to:

  • Lead the development of scorecards, metrics trackers and planning in support of the global Card Product leads in driving initiatives related to 2030 Strategy (e.g. Affluent growth, Credit expansion, Dynamic Product/Graduation strategy among others)

  • Develop a strategy for how Card Product performance is measured, tracked and communicated within Product and across stakeholder groups globally

  • Lead global product research (e.g., market share, brand preference) in partnership with Insights and Brand Marketing teams

  • Support global business case development for new features, benefits and tech developments with costs and benefits to Visa

  • Define and own the learning agenda, KPI/KPD definitions, measurement methodologies and prioritization of analytics work against that of Product charter to maximize impact

  • Drive analytics requirements and execution roadmap with Data Science resources

  • Work with external partners to commission strategic, data driven work including market research, and data aggregation and synthesizing exercises

  • Develop product usage and behavior insights about affluent & credit consumer segments for Visa's priority markets

  • Support executive presentations and build of GTM materials for issuer and merchant partnerships

  • Partner with benefits and sponsorships sourcing to develop a strategy and framework to drive incremental benefits content and propositions

  • Live and Promote "Data Led Decision Making" across the teams through adoption of insights to increase effectiveness of every function.

  • Be the analytics leader across cross-functional teams, driving thought leadership and supporting business leaders in making key product and business decisions.

  • Work with analytics partners in Data Science and Engineering to grow the maturity of analytics capabilities.

  • Oversee the Insights and analytics, measurement, data enablement, data governance, dashboarding and reporting needs required to

    • accelerate sales pipeline.

    • drive product consideration and conversion among Issuers/Merchants

    • preference and usage among consumers.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

*8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

*Minimum 8 years of experience in a strategic or analytical role within a global organization, prior top-tier consulting firm experience a plus.

*Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to structure analyses and interpret complex data and market trends.

*Strong storytelling and slide development skills for executive and broader audiences to consumer complex messages in a simple, concise manner.

*Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.

*Strong quantitative and financial modeling skills. Proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint.

*Prior hands-on expertise in design of experiments, learning agendas, measurement methodologies to determine propensity, churn, attribution, and business lift leveraging best in class statistical methods and packages.

*Strong practical ability in SQL, Hadoop, Python/R, Tableau or Power BI, Microsoft office suite, and data and analytics solutions on distributed data platforms including big data.

*Cross-functional work experience and understanding of international markets a plus.

*Experience in financial services and payments and global exposure are a plus.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 149,900.00 to 217,500.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
