About the Role

TheOff Duty Officer (ODO)plays a critical role in safeguarding our clients, their employees, and the public. Whether providing a discreet presence or a visible deterrent, ODOs at Inter-Con deliver professionalism, leadership, and situational awareness at high-value sites.

Responsibilities



  • Follow all Nike post orders and safety protocols.
  • Comply with health & safety guidelines (e.g., proper face coverings, agency-approved uniform).
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Make sound decisions independently and respond calmly under pressure.
  • Remain at your designated post unless otherwise directed.
  • Observe and respond promptly to emergencies or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor, patrol, and safeguard Nike assets, patrons, and facilities.
  • Escort athletes to and from their vehicles if requested.
  • Assist with line control and hazard awareness as needed.
  • Stay alert and maintain constant awareness of your surroundings.
  • Report concerns or incidents clearly and promptly to Store Leadership.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate reports and records when required.
  • Communicate professionally with Nike leadership, team members, and customers.


Requirements



  • Be a U.S. Citizen and is 21 years of age or older.
  • Active or Retired Sworn Law Enforcement with current POST Certification.
  • Agency ID Card with CCW Firearms Endorsement (Required).
  • Valid BSIS Armed Security License.
  • Must have at a minimum three (3) years of experience as a Law Enforcement Officer with arrest authority or three (3) years of prisoner handling and detention experience as a Corrections, Detention ,or Military Police Officer.
  • Hold a high school diploma or General Equivalency Development (GED) credential.
  • Must be physically capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods (8+ hours).
  • Strong judgment, conflict de-escalation skills, and emotional intelligence.
  • Have a honorable or general discharge if a Veteran.
  • Must pass a comprehensive background check.


Licensing, Certification & Support



  • We provide assistance with CPR and First Aid certification to ensure all officers are prepared for any emergency.
  • Must carry valid government-issued ID and licenses while on duty.
  • Continued compliance with state and site-specific training and certification is required.
