Peer Support Specialist
Overview Presbyterian is currently hiring a Peer Recovery Support Specialist in Clovis, NM. This role focuses on providing Recovery Coaching to individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. As a Peer Recovery Support Specialist, you'll help patients identify personal and environmental barriers to recovery, connect them with the recovery community, and serve as a mentor in managing both personal and family recovery. While not acting as a sponsor, you'll model resilience, coping strategies, and a commitment to ongoing recovery. Collaboration is key in this role-you'll work closely with the patient's treatment team and, when needed, engage with their family and community to support a holistic recovery journey.
