Final Inspector

Day Shift | $20+ per hour (depending on experience)

Requirements

3 years of experience + The ability to lift 50 pounds + Steel-toe boots/shoes

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on finished pipe and tubing products, including OD (outside diameter), gauge, OAL (overall length), straightness, hooked-end checks, and visual inspections for surface defects.
• Verify the accuracy of the mill stencil and confirm calibration of assigned tools as required.
• Notify Quality and Production Supervisors immediately of any discrepancies found during inspection.
• Assist in verifying the accuracy of flattening tests performed by the Straightener Operator.
• Follow all procedures, work instructions, and company policies related to quality assurance and safety.
• Safely operate manufacturing equipment such as acetylene torches, plasma arc torches, hand grinders, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area through routine housekeeping practices.
• Adhere to all operational safety requirements, including lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to ensure product quality and operational efficiency.
