Schedule: Approximately 28 hours/week | Morning Day Shift | Flexibility Required Utz Quality Foods is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to support our sales team at our Salt Lake City, UT Distribution Center. As a Part-Time Warehouse Utility Associate, you'll help maintain accurate inventory, ensure proper product rotation, and prepare orders for our sales team. If you're organized, hands-on, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing Your responsibilities will include:
- Opening and closing the distribution center as needed
- Unloading trailers and verifying inventory accuracy
- Pick and build pallets for outbound shipments, making sure stacks are stable and safe for transport.
- Rotating stock to maintain optimal shelf-life
- Pulling and preparing product orders for sales professionals
- Maintaining accurate daily inventory balances using a handheld computer
- Processing returned, stale, and damaged products
- Performing general maintenance tasks such as cleaning and mowing
What You'll Bring We're looking for someone who:
- Has strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Is comfortable with basic math and writing for tracking and recording data
- Can make independent decisions, especially during promotional activity
- Communicates effectively through speech, vision, and hearing
- Is physically capable of lifting, carrying, and transporting products
- Holds a valid driver's license and can operate a step van safely
- Is at least 19 years old and able to obtain a DOT Medical Card

- Basic math and writing skills necessary to track, count, and record information.
- Requires independent decision making on inventory needs, especially during promotional activity.
- Requires an ability to communicate through speech, vision and hearing.
- Must be able and eligible to safely operate and maintain required equipment to fulfill warehousing responsibilities.
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Requires a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to operate a route sales delivery step van in a safe and competent manner.
- Requires proper lifting techniques with an ability to lift, carry, and transport products.
- Must be able to safely lift, pull, push, and carry up to 80 pounds.
Working Conditions
- Exposure to temperature extremes including working in conditions with dust, humidity, fumes, and various allergens.
- Indoor/outdoor environment.
- Slippery floors.
- Requires require an ability to sit, talk, bend, stand twist frequently and for long periods. Using hands for simple grasping.
- Personal Protective Equipment usage where required.
