Staffmark is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our
client's team in St. Francisville, LA. This role is essential to ensuring accurate financial records, managing accounts receivable, and supporting financial reporting processes. Ideal candidates will be proactive, analytical, and experienced in general ledger accounting and reconciliations.

Salary: $53,000 - $70,000/year (based on experience and CPA credentials)

Schedule: First Shift | Full-Time

Responsibilities:



  • Support general ledger and financial reporting
  • Manage accounts receivable and collections
  • Process credit card payments and send reminders
  • Analyze AR aging and provide weekly metrics
  • Assist with month-end close and journal entries
  • Track revenue, costs, and gross margin
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Support unbilled services reporting and cash forecasting
  • Collaborate with Controller on cash flow management



Qualifications:



  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Accounting preferred)
  • CPA preferred; relevant accounting experience required
  • Experience in billing, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger and financial analysis
  • Proficient with accounting software and billing systems
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
