Join our team as a Senior Accountant and become an essential part of our Company. We are a leading manufacturer of products and services for the transit, railroad, mining, general industry, and oil/gas industries in the US and globally. In this role, you'll report directly to the Controller and lead day-to-day accounting operations. We're looking for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a manufacturing environment and enjoys collaborating across departments. What You'll Do: Oversee general ledger activities and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting Supervise one Junior Accountant and provide functional guidance to AP, AR and Payroll Support payroll processing, reconciliations, and journal entries Assist with inventory and cost accounting, including variance analysis Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reporting, and tax compliance Support audits and help maintain strong internal controls Recommend process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy What We're Looking For: Minimum Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business 3+ years of accounting experience in manufacturing Payroll experience required, ADP Workforce Now preferred Knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems Strong analytical and organizational skills Experience with cost accounting and/or inventory are pluses Why Join Us?
