Part time, 20 hours per week Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital has been ranked the number one children's hospital in Florida. Check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufkDLg7u730 What you will do: The purpose of the RN-Utilization Management position is to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to advocate for the patient and ensure high quality, cost-effective care. Contributes to the goals of the department by examining appropriateness of status and level of care for the patient's clinical condition, improving coordination of care across the continuum, and aiding in optimization of financial performance to allow for continued reinvestment in JHACH. Uses clinical findings, Interqual evidence based criteria and JHACH policies/practices to perform utilization reviews for admissions, continued stays, and adverse determinations following escalation process defined in the JHACH UM Plan. Salary Range: Minimum 37.22/hour - Maximum 57.70/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
