What this job involves:The Strategic Sourcing & Partnerships Manager leads procurement strategy and supplier management across JLL's integrated facilities management service delivery to Stripe throughout the Americas (AMER) region. This leadership role develops innovative sourcing approaches, manages complex category strategies, and cultivates strategic supplier partnerships that drive exceptional value and service performance. The position serves as a key procurement leader for the region, aligning sourcing initiatives with business objectives while building a high-performing procurement organization.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Lead the development and implementation of regional procurement strategy aligned with global objectives
  • Manage category strategies for key spend areas across the AMER portfolio
  • Direct complex sourcing initiatives from opportunity identification through implementation
  • Build and manage a network of strategic supplier partnerships that enhance service capabilities
  • Lead supplier innovation programs that drive continuous improvement and value creation
  • Develop and implement procurement governance frameworks and compliance protocols
  • Manage a team of sourcing professionals and coordinate regional procurement activities
  • Establish performance metrics and reporting systems for procurement effectiveness
  • Identify and execute cost optimization initiatives that deliver sustainable savings
  • Develop risk management strategies for critical supply categories and markets
  • Lead stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment between procurement and operations
  • Implement digital procurement strategies and technology enablement
  • Oversee supplier diversity and sustainable procurement programs
  • Represent procurement interests in client business reviews and strategic planning
  • Partner with global teams to leverage enterprise-wide procurement opportunities
  • Develop and mentor sourcing team members to build procurement capabilities
  • Lead change management for procurement transformation initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Advanced professional procurement certification (MCIPS, CPSM, or equivalent)
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing with at least 3 years in management
  • Strong knowledge of category management principles and advanced sourcing methodologies
  • Experience leading procurement transformation or optimization initiatives
  • Background managing supplier relationships at executive and strategic levels
  • Experience developing and implementing procurement strategies across multiple countries
  • Strong people management and team leadership abilities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong financial acumen with ability to demonstrate procurement value creation
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations and multinational environments
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and emerging trends
  • Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in related field or MBA
  • G-Suite proficiency is preferred
  • Experience in facilities management, corporate real estate, or professional services industries
  • Background managing procurement for multinational client accounts
  • Knowledge of AMER supplier markets and regional procurement regulations
  • Experience implementing digital procurement platforms and technologies
  • Background in supplier relationship management program development
  • Experience leading procurement teams across multiple countries
  • Knowledge of change management methodologies
  • Background in procurement center of excellence development
  • Experience with procurement performance measurement and analytics
  • Knowledge of strategic sourcing in service categories

Working Environment

This position is based in United States, with responsibility for procurement activities across the AMER region. The role requires regular travel (approximately 30%) to regional locations for supplier meetings, team management, and stakeholder engagement. The Strategic Sourcing & Partnerships Manager works in a professional office environment with modern technology systems while frequently collaborating virtually with teams across multiple countries and time zones. The position offers significant leadership opportunities with potential advancement into senior procurement leadership roles globally.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

100,000.00 - 125,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
