Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. This is an open rank position and could be categorized as Instructor, Senior Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor based on experience and qualifications as indicated below: Instructor: * At the time of hire, applicants must have a Colorado Psychologist License or be eligible for licensure within the state of Colorado. * Must have completed an APA-approved doctoral training program, including an APA-approved internship. * 1-3 years of relevant clinical experience at rank or equivalent experience. * Minimum degree qualifications: Ph.D. or Psy.D. Professor: * At the time of hire, applicants must have a Colorado Psychologist License or be eligible for licensure within the state of Colorado. * Must have completed an APA-approved doctoral training program, including an APA-approved internship. * 7+ years of relevant clinical experience at rank or equivalent experience. * Minimum degree qualifications: Ph.D. or Psy.D. Preferred Qualifications (applicable for all ranks): * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience following completion of a postdoctoral fellowship that includes clinical and administrative responsibilities, preferably focused on neurodevelopmental disorders * Experience working in an academic medical center * Experience working in an APA-accredited training program * Preference will be given to those who are eager to engage in all aspects of the academic mission (clinical, teaching, scholarship, and service) * Eligible for appointment at the Associate or Full Professor level preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Clinical expertise in flexibly providing evidence-based assessment, treatment, and consultation to young children and their families * Demonstrated success in developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical programming in a complex and fast-paced environment * Ability to convene stakeholders and lead a change management process * Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently * Capacity for flexibility and adaptability in different work situations * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Effective time management and organizational skills * Ability to work effectively with a diverse population of faculty, staff, trainees, patients, and families * Knows and applies best practices in diversity and inclusion during interactions with patients, families, providers, and other team members * Ability to provide effective supervision to mental health trainees and consultation with other mental health professionals * Knowledge of research and quality improvement methodology, as well as the ability to independently conduct research and/or quality improvement projects |
