Job Details: JOB SUMMARY: Operates and maintains digital and analog electronic devices. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing assemblies to the module level, documenting maintenance activities, and ensuring equipment is functioning optimally. The position typically works under close supervision and direction. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist Field Services Technicians with the setup, installation, and servicing of electronic equipment.
  • Utilize maintenance and repair manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, electronic devices, test equipment, and hand tools to troubleshoot and repair electronic systems.
  • Interface professionally with customer agencies and stakeholders.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions, replace spares, troubleshoot and isolate faults, and perform module repairs.
  • Operate electronic measuring devises and test equipment.
  • Perform system checks to ensure operational readiness of devices.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance as directed.
  • Adhere to Occupational Health & Safety standards and actively participate in safety initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in electronics maintenance or a related field.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations and common software applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting technical documents and applying craft-related techniques.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. standing or walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and working in varied environmental conditions (e.g., noise, temperature extremes).
  • Comfortable working in dynamic, public-facing environments.

Cubic Pay Range:

$17.84 - $24.53 + benefits.

The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
