The FP&A Manager will play a crucial role in the financial planning, analysis, and reporting of the Sales Commission functions at Snowflake. This individual will be responsible for developing financial models, preparing forecasts, tracking actuals vs. budgets, and providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial principles, and the ability to communicate financial information clearly and concisely.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models for various business scenarios.

  • Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

  • Conduct in-depth variance analysis and provide actionable insights.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers and provide guidance.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.

  • Assist in strategic planning initiatives and special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.

  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Advanced Excel skills are a must

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial audiences.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $131,000 - $182,700.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
