Position Title: Production
Wage: $15.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 5:00am-5:00pm (Mon-Fri) Join a team that's shaping the future-literally! We're looking for dependable, hands-on individuals to assist in the production of high-quality precast concrete products. Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Provides support for the bed crew to produce high quality, finished products. Assists in the production of precast products and forms by performing a variety of duties. - Assist with the layout and setup of recast production beds and product forms. - Pulls strand and assist with the tensioning process. - Assist with the install of plates, rebar, wire, insulation, lifters, blockouts, reveals and anchors. Also assist with tying rebar, grinding, buffing and cutting wire. Additional utility duties with include pulling steps and jumping bases. - Assist in concrete pouring and vibrating. - Assist with calking processes where needed. - Operate battery powered and other small hand tools. - Assists in stripping, changeover, and step-up of forms for different products as required. - Asist in the layout of dunnage on trailers for placement of finished products for shipping. - Follows directions which may include multiple steps to complete tasks - Maintains clean work are, machines, tools, and equipment. Performs other routine duties. - Must adhere to all client and OSHA safety rules. - Must work with the attendance policy. Production Requirements: - High School Diploma or GED preferred. - Precast experience preferred. - Must be able to pass QPS screening process. - Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally. - Must be able to stand up to 12 hours. - Must be able to work in hot environment. - Must be able to bend over and kneel for long periods of time. burlington@qpsemployment.com IND101 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
