The Shop Leader is responsible for managing the overall performance and operations of the branch, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business growth.

This position is located in Arlington, WA

This position will report to the Customer Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate records for inspections and certifications.

2. Operational Management

• Maintains and repairs of a variety of complex rental equipment, tools, and vehicles involving mechanical, hydraulics, and diesel, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Oversee daily operations of the branch, including rental logistics, equipment dispatch, and returns.
• Ensure compressors and related equipment are maintained, serviced, and ready for deployment.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs.

3. Team Leadership

• Supervise and support branch staff including technicians.
• Conduct training, performance reviews, and foster a safety-first culture.
• Schedule shifts and manage workload distribution.

4. Customer Relations

• Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery and pickup of rental equipment.
• Resolve customer issues and complaints efficiently.

5. Financial Oversight

• Manage branch budget, expenses, and profitability.

• Monitor KPIs such as fleet availability, down equipment, Engineering Change bulletin (ECB) and Scheduled Maintenance Form (SMF) securing high reliability.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience with experience in rental operations, fleet management, or service coordination.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work with digital tools for tracking and reporting.
• Technical knowledge of rental equipment and service procedures.
• Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving abilities
