We are looking for a Senior Commercial Lender in San Francisco, CA.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for generating and servicing a wide variety of commercial loans, including the most complex, large, difficult, and sensitive credits.
  • Aggressively seeks and obtains quality new business through client and prospect calls, referrals, and cross selling efforts.
  • Responsible for developing strong, low risk commercial relationships while maintaining quality customer service.
  • Acts as the principal account and relationship manager for new and existing clients.
  • Develops, generates and follows-up on new client leads through existing clients and referrals from other bank departments.
  • Calls on existing relationships to review portfolios and makes recommendations as needed.
  • Responsible for sales, credit analysis, proper loan structuring, client interviewing, and perceptive character judgment.
  • Responsible for monitoring credit performance and ensures compliance with all related regulations, laws, etc.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining relationships, with a resulting high degree of customer satisfaction.
  • Cross sell other bank products.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor's and 10+ years' experience with commercial lending, credit, underwriting, or 12+ years other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet the requirements.
  • Requires skills and experience in applicant interviewing and perceptive character judgment, loan structuring, credit analysis, and monitoring credit performance.
  • Subject matter expert knowledge of commercial loans, credit analysis, lending, loan processing and closing processes.
  • Ability to expand commercial loans, client relationships and cross sell bank products.
  • Requires exceptional sales ability.
  • Expert experience in applicant interviewing and perceptive character judgment skills.
  • Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.
  • Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Manages the most high-risk, complex, and large commercial portfolios.
  • Applies advanced principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $208,000 - $255,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
