POSITION SUMMARY
The Concierge Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operation of the concierge desk, ensures exceptional member/guest service, and financial profitability. The supervisor also takes an active role in identifying, initiating, and executing new business and service opportunities within the Stratton Mountain Club. This is a full-time seasonal position, paid at $22.00/hr.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Oversees all day-today operations of the SMC concierge desk
- Refinement, development, implementation, & training of customer service standards, guest experience systems, hospitality standards, company values, strategies, tactics, & initiatives
- Support of all first-floor customer facing operations
- Proficient to lead in IT / POS systems
- Ensure opening and closing responsibilities are met and followed
- Liaison between SMC, Guest Services, & Slopeside Valet Parking
- Responsible for concierge desk staff scheduling, staffing levels, & recruitment
- Upkeep of communication boards for team members
- Organize the concierge desk so that information, forms, log books, etc. are stored properly and are easily locatable
- Additional duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required
- Associates or Bachelor's degree, preferred
Experience:
- 3+ years of high-level experience in customer service, preferred
- Previous front desk experience, preferred
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Exceptional customer service skills are required
- Experience as a leader of supervisors and/or managers
- Exceptional interpersonal skills including the ability to listen well
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, resourceful, organized, detail oriented, enthusiastic, outgoing and reliable.
- Must have strong computer literacy skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
