Seeking an Automated Test Equipment Support Engineer to design, modify, and integrate Test Program Sets (TPS), which include an Interface Test Adapter (ITA), cables, and related software updates, that are then integrated with existing Test Stations. Our team is responsible for providing validated test stations to support all stages of development, integration and testing of major subsystems and systems for multiple programs.

As the Automated Test Equipment Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:

* The Design, Integration, Verification and Validation of Interface Test Adapters (ITA), related harnesses, and other test equipment.

* Integration of ITAs with common core test stations

* Creating and executing test plans, verification, and validation plans.

* Supporting the operation, calibration, and maintenance of test stations used for the production units.

* Supporting root cause failure analysis if the tested production unit fails. Upon determination of the root cause, the Test Engineer would then recommend and implement corrective actions on the test station as required or in the case of a production unit failure, provide recommendations to manufacturing engineering.

Basic Qualifications :

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a STEM-related field with 5 years of professional experience or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree. Considered career or journey level.

* Moderate to advanced software development skills should include National Instruments' LabWindows CVI, TestStand, and LabVIEW. Knowledge of scripting and MATLAB is a plus.

* Experience working with Test Stations in a Production Environment.

* Knowledgeable in Test Engineering processes, documentation, and design assurance reviews.

* Knowledgeable in developing and executing functional test procedures, test software updates, validation plans, calibration procedures, etc.

* Knowledgeable in reading and understanding electrical schematics and familiarity with fundamental electro-optical principles.

* High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office

* Up to 20% Domestic Travel required.

Required Experience/Skills:

* Candidate must have at least 1-2 years experience with Power Electronics

* Candidate must have at least 2-4 years experience with Production

* Candidate must have at least 2-4 years experience with Electrical Testing

* Candidate must have at least 2-4 years experience with User Acceptance Testing

* Candidate must have at least 1-2 years experience with Validation Test Plans

* Candidate must have at least 1-2 years experience with wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts, in the field. General knowledge of other related disciplines.

* Candidate must have at least 1-2 years experience with Test Stations in a Production Environment

* Candidate must have at least 1-2 years experience with with Microsoft Office

* Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills:

* Familiarity with common lab equipment: DMM, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies.

* Experience with lab test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, and Signal Generators

* Familiarity with troubleshooting test equipment and interface test adapters with schematics and supporting documentation.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Experienced in Electrical Design (cable design, circuit board design, etc.).

* Experienced working in a team environment and capable of working with little direction.
