The Change Architect will work with the project team to deliver client-facing solutions for a variety of technology and industry verticals. The Change Architect is responsible for planning and executing the adoption strategy and deliverables for enterprise clients facing technology change. The Change Architect is also responsible for working with client support teams and other IT groups to implement the new technology. They collaborate and work closely with the entire project team towards maintaining the communicated timeline, budget, and scope. They may create end-user documentation (e.g., user guides, process flow charts, training materials) and deliver training depending on scoped work.

Essential Duties
  • Lead the development of a comprehensive adoption strategy that includes detailed action plans for driving user adoption of new technology.
  • Conduct detailed impact assessments to understand the potential effects of change on various aspects of the organization, including processes, people, and technology.
  • Create and implement a communication plan that outlines key messages, target audiences, delivery channels, and timing to ensure stakeholders are well-informed and engaged throughout the change process.
  • Collaborate with IT and technical support teams to develop tailored end user messaging, support sites, and other reference materials.
  • Integrate and align all change management activities with the overall project plan, accounting for project workstreams and client dependencies and timeline.
  • Identify, anticipate, and manage resistance to change across both stakeholder and end-user groups.
  • Advocates as the voice of the end-user, ensuring that their needs and concerns are represented during the development of technical plans and solutions, creating a pathway to successful user adoption.
  • Creates and develops end-user materials in various formats to ensure awareness, desire, knowledge, and ability to adopt technology change.
  • Collaborate with other change managers, both internal peers and client partners, to ensure alignment and consistency across multiple projects or change initiatives.
  • Develop clear, quantifiable success metrics that align with the goals of the change initiative, such as adoption rates, user satisfaction, and productivity improvements.
  • Identify lessons learned from previous change initiatives and apply them to future projects to enhance the effectiveness of change management efforts.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and trends in change management and technology adoption.
  • Other duties as assigned and directed.
Required Skills
  • 5-7 years of experience in change management, with a strong focus on technology-driven change initiatives.
  • Experience working with technical teams and a solid understanding of technology solutions and their impact on business operations.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive change at all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to assess situations, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in dynamic environments and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
  • Comfortable giving and receiving open feedback and having difficult conversations with team members or clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working in a technical consulting environment or with multiple clients.
  • Change management certification or designation (Ex. CCMP, Prosci)
  • Ability to manage client relationships and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Microsoft 365 Certified Fundamentals certification
Bonus is you have...
  • Have worked for a consulting company.
  • Certifications in CCBA, CBAP, PSM, CSM, CUA, and prior consulting experience a plus.
  • Experience with formal software quality assurances tools and processes such as writing and executing test plans is a plus.
  • Exposure, understanding and utilization ofdesign thinking principles is a plus.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and are comfortable with ambiguity.

In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for discretionary incentive plan based on company and individual performance. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each candidate, including experience and location.
