STV is seeking an Interior Designer to join our Buildings Group based out of either our NYC or Boston, MA locations.

As a Designer, you will work under the supervision of a Senior Designer or Architect on complex and high-profile projects, performing a variety of drafting and design tasks. You will be collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to explore new concepts and methods.

Essential Functions

  • Assist designteam to develop design ideas and integrate criteria into a project.
  • Assist in developing presentation documents.
  • Understand project criteria and assist in selecting finishes, furnishings, and fixtures.
  • Assist in developing details and specifications.
  • Able to manage time and workload with regular interaction and direction from project leads.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned and within scope of practice.
  • Highly organized and motivated, and capable of working on multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Basic oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree inInteriorDesign,InteriorArchitecture or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of two (2+) years related experience in interiordesign.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Basic rendering skills; use of Enscape and VR is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of construction documentation and architecture detailing.
  • Familiarity with finishes, furnishings, and equipment.

Compensation Range:

$74,112.66 - $98,816.88
