Interstate Assembly Systems in Marshfield Wisconsin is looking for a Service Advisor with heavy duty truck manufacturing or up-fitting experience to join our exciting industry!

In this role, you will partner with our current service advisor and work as a team of two in assisting customers in-person and over the phone using our processes and exceptional customer experience standards! Responsibilities include, scheduling appointments, organize work for our service teams, completing invoices and collecting payments.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Check in all units over the phone or in person asking good questions about the equipment issues
• Write and present accurate quotes and estimates with a deep parts and labor knowledge of cranes
• Work with outside vendors for sublet work needed on customer units.
• Organize and manage the service schedule ensuring timely completion of customer units and workflow in the shop
• Manage technician time and monitor repair progress for maximum efficiency
• Promptly communicate with the customer as the repair progresses, giving appropriate updates
• Explain the work and charges to the customer when the job is complete and collect payment
• Assist with warranty claims at branch level and work with warranty department to ensure maximum warranty recovery with vendors.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED
• Prior Service Advisor experience
• Working experience in heavy trucks and/or equipment operation preferred
• Great phone and in person communication skills
• Professionalism and customer service skills
• Computer and typing skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams
• Ability to navigate multiple vendor applications and websites

Physical Demands:

• Frequent to continuous seated work.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
