CareDx, Inc., is currently looking for an Infrastructure Administrator to join our team. This position will report directly to our Infrastructure Manager. As an Infrastructure Administrator at CareDx you'll have a key position within our global IT infrastructure team supporting our offices in North America, Europe, and Australia. You will play a key role in maintaining, optimizing, and securing our global on-premise, and cloud-based servers. You will ensure high availability and performance for a growing 24x7x365 laboratory operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for Linux server related issues, leading troubleshooting efforts during outages or incidents. Ensure effective communication during critical incidents to minimize downtime and service disruptions.
  • Support both on-premise and cloud servers.
  • Implement, support, and monitor infrastructure to ensure stability, reliability, and compliance. Ensure server availability for 24/7 operations.
  • Identify and resolve incidents and problems promptly and effectively.
  • Manage patching of servers in line with the corporate patching policy.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining server operating systems.
  • On-prem SAN administration, cloud storage administration.
  • Monitor and maintain the backup infrastructure and associated jobs.
  • Adhere to defined process and change control but also provide input around areas for improvement.
  • Support audit evidence gathering. Participate in internal and external audits.
  • Serve as escalation point for Service Desk team, supporting issues in our Lab environment.
  • Performs other related Information Technology Infrastructure Administrator job duties as required.
  • Provide after-hours and weekend support for critical server issues, ensuring minimal downtime for essential operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years server/storage administration
  • Administrative experience with Virtualized environment such as VMware, Azure Virtual Machines, Hyper-V, Nutanix
  • Scripting/Automation experience
  • Strong skills in diagnosing and root cause analysis of technical issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

San Francisco Bay Area Roles:

The anticipated base salary range for candidates who will work in Brisbane, California is $90,000 to $120,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. CareDx is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
