What You'll Get to Do:
- Responsible for overall retail product portfolio;key product lines include consumer and business deposit accounts (checking, HSA, money market, IRA, CDs and payment products)
- Define the product strategy and how it aligns to Farm Bureau Bank's overall objectives in order to profitably grow the deposit portfolio
- Be the subject matter expert with respect to competition, industry trends, and changing customer needs
- Manage new offerings and enhancements throughout the product lifecycle
- Manage market research to understand industry and product trends, assess customer behaviors and attitudes and plan product enhancements accordingly
- Communicate industry and market research to ensure the sales team is current on competitor offerings/promotions
- Manage product training to include sales training as well as ongoing training to support product/feature enhancements, refresher training, or other training/ communications
- Work with sales management to develop the annual marketing campaign to include sales goals, promotional campaigns, andadvertising materials needed whilemonitoringperformance
- Act as first point of contact for all deposit product related inquiries and work collaboratively with colleagues to address any issues that may arise
- Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders across multiple lines of business
Education and Experience:
- Broad knowledge of core consumer banking products and services, including experience with branch and on-line sales environments.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of Product Management experience, with some being in the banking industry.
- Retail banking experience beneficial.
- Broad experience in product management of both asset and liability products.
