Work Schedule
The Department of Applied Physiology, Health, & Clinical Sciences oversees a 20-hour per week AT clinic for sport club and dance students. We are looking for ATs who can operate the clinic 1 to 4 days per week. Clinic schedule will depend on availability.
Pay Rate $30/hour
Minimum Experience/Education

  • Four-year college degree
  • Current CPR certification

Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:

  • Experience working with sports teams and/or performing arts populations.
  • Experience with injury assessment and rehabilitation.
  • Training in prehabilitation and injury prevention.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate open Athletic Training clinic hours for Club Sport participants and Performing Arts students.
  • Perform injury assessments, develop treatment plans, and administer rehabilitation exercise.
  • Work with student groups on prevention plans and exercise prescriptions.
  • Make referrals to student health when injury/illness warrants.


Other Work/Responsibilities

  • Track usage rates of services provided.
  • Support EHR documentation when necessary


Necessary Licenses or Certifications

  • National BOC Certification
  • Current license with the NC Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners
