WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

The Production Control Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the production control activities within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures that production schedules are met, materials are available, and production processes run smoothly and efficiently. The Production Control Coordinator works closely with various departments to optimize production operations and meet customer demands.

The Production Control Coordinator coordinates moving Material Flow forward for the plant. Provides daily, tactical support of the Supermarket to ensure on-time deliveries in a cost-effective manner. Supports and helps identify continuous improvement opportunities that allow for maximum manufacturing efficiency and maintains minimum inventories.

YOU HAVE:

  • High School diploma or equivalent. 2-4 year university degree preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in production control, manufacturing, or a related role.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices is a plus.

Physical and Environmental Demands

  • Variable Conditions: You may experience temperature changes, noise levels exceeding 85 decibels, and exposure to dust, grease, and other industrial materials. PPE and safety measures are required.

  • Safety Hazards: You may be exposed to mechanical parts, sharp objects, and heavy machinery. Completion of safety training and strict adherence to all safety precautions are mandatory.

  • Physical Strain: Tasks may involve repetitive motions, standing for long periods, and handling various weights.

  • Vision and Auditory: Requires good vision and hearing to respond to machinery sounds, alarms, and instructions.

  • Physical Activity: Requires standing up to 8 hours, lifting 35 pounds, and occasionally pushing/pulling 75 pounds or more.
