This leadership role reports to the VP of Cyber Defense and leads Verizon's Threat Management Center, focusing on Cyber Security Operations and Incident Response. The Threat Management Center (TMC) serves as Verizon's 24x7x365 first line of defense, actively monitoring and responding to cyber security incidents. What we are looking for... This role will primarily be focused on maturing the Security Operations, Insider Threat, Incident Response, Digital Forensic and Cyber Exercise functions. This role will work closely with technology partners, business stakeholders and other parts of the Cybersecurity organization, including the Business Information Security Officers (BISOs), various engineering and network security teams. The leader will have a broad range of responsibilities within Cyber Defense and will be responsible for the strategy and evolution of the Threat Management Center (TMC). Further, the leader will be responsible for the oversight, mentorship, and continued development of the programs and teams within the Threat Management Center. The successful candidate will possess and develop strong technical and interpersonal skills and will have the ability to handle high-profile matters and to work under pressure with minimal supervision in highly matrixed and cross-functional environments.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $203,500.00 - $354,000.00. | |
