Supermicro is experiencing continued growth, and we are seeking a Sr. Accounting Manager to help manage increasing workloads related to month-end close, account reconciliations, SEC disclosure support, and daily AP operations. Reporting to the Director, Accounting, this individual will play a key leadership role in overseeing financial reporting processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring accuracy and compliance across accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both public and private accounting, a solid grasp of US GAAP, and hands-on experience with system implementation and process improvement. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Oversee and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations, with a strong emphasis on areas such as prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities, loan interest, and other key financial statement components to ensure accuracy and completeness. * Manage and streamline the month-end close process, reviewing critical entries and reconciliations while working to improve efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness in response to increasing transaction volumes. * Responsible for reviewing disclosure schedules for SEC filings (Form 10-K and 10-Q) to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards * Collaborate with internal and external auditors, coordinating audit requests and providing well-documented support to facilitate smooth and timely audit completion. * Coordinate with cross-functional teams and other accounting groups to collect key financial data, perform flux and trend analyses, and implement improvements that enhance close processes and reporting quality. * Maintain and enhance accounting policies and procedures, ensuring consistent application across the team and alignment with internal controls and regulatory requirements. * Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects, such as automation initiatives, system enhancements, and process optimization, to elevate the efficiency of accounting operations. * Coach and mentor accounting staff, providing technical guidance, reviewing work for accuracy, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. * Drive accuracy and best practices in financial reporting, aligning day-to-day operations with broader company objectives and supporting strategic goals. Salary Range
$127,000 - $160,000 The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs. EEO Statement
