Warehouse Order Filler, Packer & Shipper

This position is responsible for all aspects of picking, packing, shipping and maintenance in the warehouse. This position is physically demanding since it requires standing, lifting and walking for up to 8 hours. The job requirements below reflect the current essential functions and is not meant to be all inclusive. Duties and responsibilities may be assigned or re-assigned to this job at any time. Must be able to schedule vacations around the last 2-3 days of each month and during the yearly physical inventory which takes place at the end of each year. Overtime is required when determined by management.

* Pick, pack and ship accurately and efficiently to meet company standards for safety, security and productivity

* Responsible for completeness and correctness of all orders filled; identify parts accurately for error free picking, packing and shipping

* Ensure that all inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage

* Maintain a clean neat and orderly work area

* Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety

* Follow directions

* Assist in unloading containers

* Willingness to learn UPS computer system

* Assist all employees as required

* Assist with physical inventory and cycle counting

Education, Experience and Skills

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Previous pick, pack and ship experience

* Building/assembly experience

* Ability to read/audit production drawings

* Pallet jack experience

* Experience with various hand and power driven tools

* 3M electric tape machine/hand taper

* Riveter [floor model]

* Basic computer skill set required, especially Microsoft Office suite

* UPS software, a plus

* Active fork truck license preferred, or previous fork truck experience, a plus

* Ability to work flexible schedule including overtime and weekends, as needed

Special/Particular Requirements (safety, physical, etc)

* Ability to life up to 50 lbs. regularly

* Ability to work in various warehouse conditions, including high and low temperatures

* Active position with regular standing/bending/lifting/crouching, up to 8 hours
