Associate Localization Program Manager - T&P Localization

About the Role

As an Associate Localization Program Manager on the Tech & Products (T&P) Localization team, you'll play a key role in helping bring the Salesforce product experience to customers around the world - in their own language.

You'll partner with engineers, product managers, and localization vendors to manage and scale the end-to-end localization process. You'll also collaborate with in-country stakeholders on linguistic reviews, and work closely with globalization engineers to improve and automate localization workflows.

This is a hands-on, technical, and dynamic role supporting one of the fastest-growing product teams at Salesforce. You'll thrive here if you're curious, adaptable, detail-oriented, and excited to contribute to global customer experience at scale.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support localization for assigned product teams, ensuring smooth and on-time delivery of high-quality localized content

  • Manage all aspects of technical localization projects, from kickoff to final delivery

  • Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and internal teams to continuously improve localization processes

  • Partner with vendors to ensure scalable handoffs, high-quality translations, and clear communication

  • Participate in QA and troubleshooting efforts across product releases

  • Drive automation and scalability efforts in partnership with globalization engineering

  • Maintain documentation, share best practices, and contribute to team-wide process improvements

  • Educate cross-functional partners on localization workflows and champion globalization best practices

What We're Looking For

  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience managing localization or translation projects

  • Strong understanding of localization and internationalization concepts

  • Comfortable working with technical tools, file types, and platforms

  • Familiarity with formats like XML, HTML, JSON, DITA, Markdown (.md), and XLIFF

  • Exposure to tools like Perforce, Git, Jenkins, content/workflow management systems

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across global teams

  • Passion for languages and a drive to improve user experience for customers worldwide

  • Experience with Translation Management Systems is a plus

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $96,000 to $132,000. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
