At Berco, we produce mission critical undercarriages for mining, construction, forestry and agriculture machinery. We provide undercarriage components to OEMs(Original Equipment Manufacturers) for the first fit of the machines as well as the service parts to OEMs and to the independent Aftermarket.


Your responsibilities

The Logistics Demand Planner reports to the Logistics Group Leader and is responsible for creating, following up and address deviations for delivery plans that efficiently meets customer requirements, while assuring the necessary raw material and supplies are available to support such plan. This position is also responsible for administrative activities that best support customer requirements and internal KPIs.

Major Areas of Responsibility

  • Update delivery schedule, track and address any deviations on a daily basis
  • Track incoming delivery of raw material, minimally through the following three months
  • Maintain clear and concise communication with suppliers and customers
  • Inventory control
  • Maintain internal KPIs and report deviations

Specific Responsibilities of the Job

  • Monitor deliveries from raw material suppliers and stay up to date suppliers performance
  • Address supplier performance issues with leadership and propose recovery plan when necessary
  • Track arrival of supplier trucks and manage missing or late deliveries
  • Communicate with Accounting Department regarding suppliers invoices and customer credits
  • Monitor actual production performance compared to planned production activities
  • Raise any potential customer delivery or raw material shortage and prepare recovery plan
  • Track inventory discrepancies and take necessary actions to recover from access or shortage of materials
  • Act as point of contact to customers and suppliers
  • Provide updates on supplier and customer issues
  • Maintain summary of projected sales based on customer EDI`s and demand guidance
  • Administrative managerial tasks
