Job Summary

The Associate Software Engineer supports the development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise applications that enhance employee productivity and contribute to global business operations. This role assists in implementing and supporting Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and cloud-based software solutions (SaaS) under the guidance of senior IT staff. The individual will help troubleshoot issues, gather user requirements, and collaborate with both internal teams and external vendors to ensure reliable, secure, and compliant application performance.



Key Duties

Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities: Application Development: Develop applications and integrations to enhance system functionality and meet business needs.
Issue Resolution: Collaborate with internal IT team members to resolve application issues and optimize system performance.Technology Awareness: Stay current on big data technologies, including Data Warehouses, Analytics, Machine Learning & AI, Data Visualization, and Cloud Computing.
Innovation & Performance: Act as a creative, adaptable, and indispensable asset to the organization by developing innovative software solutions and continuously improving system performance.
Technical Collaboration: Work with senior engineers, vendors, and stakeholders to help implement and support technical solutions.
Testing & Documentation: Support testing and documentation efforts related to application upgrades, new implementations, and compliance requirements.
Routine Tasks: Participate in routine tasks such as user training, ticket resolution, application setup, and basic configuration.
Project Management: Leverage Project Management best practices to ensure collaboration and consistency within IT and our stakeholders
Support & Maintenance: Assist in the day-to-day support, maintenance, and monitoring of enterprise software applications.
Security & Compliance: Follow established procedures for security, compliance, and data integrity related to system access and usage.
Documentation: Help maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures as required by internal policies and external regulations.
Compliance: Assist in ensuring application systems are in compliance with relevant standards such as FDA, ISO 13485, GDPR, and SOX.



Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* 1-3 years of experience in an IT support or application support role.

* Experience preferred in Power Platform (Automate, Query, BI) , MuleSoft, MS Office 365, MS Power Platform, SQL Server, Web Server, Application Server implementations and Configuration.
* Highly motivated, agile, self-directed, ensures multiple projects and tasks are prioritized, completed on time and within budget.
* Possesses a high level of initiative and energy, an enthusiasm for learning, and the capability to work with minimal supervision.
* Ability to research and recommend new applications of information technology.
* Will be required to work hours outside the normal work schedule as needed to ensure personal and departmental goals are met.
