Sigma Defense is seeking a candidate at the mid level for our open project accounting position, Program Controls II. The ideal candidate is someone who has a fundamental knowledge of accounting principles and/or finance/budgeting. We are looking for someone who has great attention to detail, willingness to learn new concepts, and have regular verbal communications with project managers. Ideally, this person has worked in project or traditional government accounting for at least 3-5 years.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • 3-5+ years DoD project accounting experience is preferred.
  • Affinity for finance and/or math related fields.
  • Experience using Microsoft Suite, especially Excel. Jamis Prime is a huge plus, but not required.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting or related field of study.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

  • Project billing.
  • Project accounting and financial analysis.
  • Subcontractor invoicing management.
  • Revenue analysis.
  • Project setup and management.
  • Communications and coordination with PMs and Contracts.

Salary Range: $90,000- $120,000 annually.
