Operations and Change Management Lead

Role Summary:

At Thomson Reuters, we are recruiting a team of motivated professionals to transform how we manage and leverage our data assets while effectively navigating organizational change. This is a unique opportunity to join a diverse and global team. The Data & Analytics organization is seeking a highly motivated individual with strong communication and change management skills for the position of Operations and Change Management Lead. This role will support the Data & Analytics organization with comprehensive change management, internal/external communications, and operational support while effectively translating complex data concepts into compelling narratives.

You will be part of the Data & Analytics organization, whose strategic goal is to create a world-class Data & Analytics company by building, embedding, and maturing a data-driven culture across Thomson Reuters.

About the role:

In this role as Operations and Change Management Lead, you will focus on:

Change Management & Transformation

  • Lead end-to-end change management for key departmental initiatives
  • Develop change readiness assessments, impact analyses, and implementation plans
  • Create frameworks to measure adoption and effectiveness of organizational changes
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify resistance points and develop mitigation strategies
  • Foster strategic partnerships across business units to drive successful transformations

Communications & Data Storytelling

  • Translate complex data concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences
  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Create engaging content showcasing D&A initiatives, successes, and value proposition
  • Establish measurement frameworks to track communication effectiveness and engagement
  • Ensure all communications reflect Thomson Reuters brand standards and D&A positioning

Leadership Support

  • Directly support the Head of Data & Analytics and leadership team with internal and external communications
  • Draft executive communications including presentations, speeches, and talking points
  • Prepare leadership for town halls, industry events, speaking engagements, and media opportunities
  • Facilitate internal departmental events to foster engagement and information sharing
  • Ensure consistent messaging aligned with organizational strategy and objectives

Business Operations Support

  • Contribute to departmental strategic planning and goal setting
  • Support budget management and resource allocation processes
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and track progress against objectives
  • Develop and maintain operational dashboards and reporting mechanisms
  • Identify operational efficiencies and process improvement opportunities

About You:

You are a fit for the role of Operations and Change Management Lead, if you have:

Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in change management, corporate communications, and/or business operations
  • Demonstrated experience in leading organizational change initiatives
  • Background in translating complex technical or data concepts into accessible messaging
  • Experience supporting executive communications and presentations
  • Track record of successful cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management

Skills

  • Change Management: Expertise in change management methodologies and implementation
  • Data Storytelling: Ability to transform data insights into compelling narratives
  • Strategic Communication: Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of business operations and organizational dynamics
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Relationship Building & Influence: Excellence in building rapport, fostering trust, and influencing stakeholders at various levels

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Organizational Development, or related field
  • Certifications in change management (PROSCI, CCMP) and/or communications are a plus

Scope of Impact

  • Leads significant change management and communication initiatives, demonstrating creativity and ingenuity
  • Determines work priorities based on general direction from leadership
  • Supports budget management for departmental initiatives
  • Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts for organizational effectiveness
  • Provides specialist advice to middle and senior management to resolve complex organizational challenges

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $99,400 - $184,600.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
