$3,000 Sign on Bonus! 4-10 hour days - Tuesday through Friday EK is looking for a quick-learning, full-time material handler to assist our painting and powder coating team. If you like working with people, can easily follow instructions, and are dedicated to consistent and quality work, then we want you to put your skills to good use with our team of expert manufacturers. Who We Are: EK is an in-demand contract manufacturing company with two major divisions: Our Complete Manufacturing division that crafts complex parts and assemblies through expert fabrication, welding, powder coating, machining, assembly and testing processes in state-of-the-art facilities using cutting-edge equipment. Our Power Products division that designs, develops, produces, and tests unique generator packaging solutions to meet the needs of the most demanding environments and applications. What will make you a strong candidate and a solid fit for the EK team? Education & Experience - You have a high school diploma or GED; one to three months related experience or training; or you have an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior forklift experience is preferred. You must also have a high degree of attention to detail to prevent injury to others and promote a safe work environment. Communication & Analytical Skills - You have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos, as well as operate and maintain instructions and procedure manuals. You should be able to write simple correspondence and effectively present information one-on-one to other EK team members. Mathematical Requirements - Our painter must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning & Problem Solving - You can effectively apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions and can deal with problems that involve a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
