Job Description:
This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, optimizing reporting processes, and providing valuable insights to support business decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee end-to-end RTR processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Configure, implement, and optimize SAP CO-PA to provide detailed profitability analysis by product, customer, and other relevant dimensions.
- Configure, implement, and optimize SAP Material Ledger to ensure accurate costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insightful reports to management.
- Develop and maintain documentation for RTR processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Controlling, Sales, and Supply Chain, to ensure data consistency and alignment.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control within the RTR function.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Provide support and training to other finance team members on SAP CO-PA and Material Ledger functionalities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to CO-PA, Material Ledger, and other RTR processes.
- Participate in SAP system upgrades and implementations, providing expertise in CO-PA and Material Ledger.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Finance or RTR roles, with a strong focus on SAP systems.
- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP CO-PA configuration, implementation, and reporting.
- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP Material Ledger configuration, implementation, and month-end/year-end close processes.
- Deep understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory valuation methods, and variance analysis.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with S/4HANA.
- Experience with other SAP modules, such as FI, AP, AR, and SD.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Project management experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
