We are seeking a detail-oriented and analyticalAccountant IIto join our Finance team. This role is ideal for a mid-level accounting professional with experience infixed asset accounting,capital project tracking, andrevenue analysis. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting strategic decision-making. Major Responsibilities Include:
Produce multiple financial reports and perform review and analyses with accuracy, and distribute to appropriate user(s). Identify and process required monthly general ledger entries for multiple corporations. Perform a wide range of complex financial analysis functions as assigned by Accounting Manager. Design, prepare, and maintain various spreadsheets to support general ledger entries and other reporting and analysis needs. Evaluate and analyze data on various reports to ensure accuracy as part of the departments check and balances. Prepare work papers as required for various regulatory and financial audits. Perform complex general ledger account analysis to ascertain accuracy of balances. Demonstrate strong skills in the areas of communication, analytical reasoning and professional judgment, in both team and independent work environments. Respond to all levels of management as needed for inquiries and information requests in a timely, accurate and professional manner as they relate to financial statements, budgets, projections and other Accounting related areas. Compile and analyze data for use in the budget and projection processes, and tax and regulatory reporting area. Develop and present financial-related information in small and large forums. Work with senior leadership and others on project teams, and may act as a project lead.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3-4 years accounting experience. Strong understanding of GAAP and capital accounting principles. Proficiency in systems (Ex: Workday, Lawson) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Strong team collaboration and ability to present financial related information in small and large forums.

1.0 FTE Location: Based in Onalaska, WI Support Services Building; role would require onsite training for ~3 months before shifting to a hybrid basis. Schedule: Monday-Friday days
