Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for an opportunity with a client located in Hoffman Estates, IL.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on the Azure platform
• Utilizing tools like Terraform or ARM templates to automate infrastructure deployments
• Managing and monitoring Azure resources to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness
• Implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices
• Collaborating with other teams, including development, DevOps, and security, to integrate cloud solutions
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Azure services and infrastructure
• Automating tasks such as provisioning, deployment, and configuration of cloud resources
• Monitoring and optimizing cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency
• Maintaining documentation and sharing knowledge about Azure infrastructure practices and solutions
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest Azure features and services

Requirements:

• Azure infrastructure deployment experience needed
• Terraform expertise needed
• Infrastructure as a Code experience needed
• Azure VM configuration experience needed
• Experience supporting large scale application migrations from on-prem data center(s) into Azure public cloud is a must have skill
• Will be deploying the IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) SQL Server stack
• Nice to haves skills are Azure SQL VM Deployment experience and Ansible or PowerShell experience
• Networking background nice to have
• Fully Remote, Standard M-F hours and 40 hours per week
• 6 month contract (possible extension)
• Looking at Mid-Senior level options
• Must be US Citizen based in U.S.
