Position Title: Secondary Market Analyst

Business Unit: Mortgage Administration

Reports to: Manager of Secondary Markets

Position Overview:

This position is primarily responsible for rate sheet, managing product and pricing engine and integration with the Loan Operating System. Responsible for supporting secondary market functions reguarding, systems, policies, procedures and implementation with all guidelines set forth by the agencies and various other government agencies. The incumbent is the backup to the senior Secondary Market Analyst. Support lock desk workflow as needed and will work closely with the Manager of Residential Secondary and Capital Markets and the Manager of Secondary Market in a support role.

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintenance and distribution of daily rate sheet pricing. Includes management of the product and pricing ending, the investor pricing matrix within the system, ongoing maintenance, validation and testing.

Periodically assist with rate locks, change requests and input and processing of sales transactions to help support the operational flow of the lock desk. Support other positions in Secondary Market as needed.

Partners with line of business Subject Matter Experts for pricing, hedging, loan sale, to help with various reporting needs, system fixes, process improvements and drive further automation for efficiencies.

Coordination of requests for pricing exceptions, rate renegotiations, lock extension and relocks as well as ad hoc reporting to various areas and to pinpoint issues related to training gaps with sales.

Analyzes and queries pricing and market share to provide guidance for our products in our product and pricing engine.

Responsible for processing of margin calls, pairoffs and settlement processes.

Back up to the Secondary Market Hedging Analyst for reporting purposes. Keeping the analyst updated to any systems changes that could affect reporting.

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
