The University of Virginia Library invites applications for a Night Manager of The Edgar Shannon Library to support the Information Services and Spaces team. The Information Services and Spaces team provides our patrons with access to collections, resources, and spaces as well as high-quality service to support them. Working in the Information Services and Spaces (ISS) team, this detail-oriented position provides management of the Shannon Library during the evening operating hours. This position oversees and supervises student workers at both Shannon Library service desks in support of patron services. The incumbent will also provide direct patron services during the evening hours. This position reports to the Shannon Library Public Services Manager. The Night Manager will work an alternate work schedule from Sunday through Thursday nights, from 6pm to 2am. What you will do: Night building management
