Job Description

As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Site in Germantown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication with team members and site personnel. You will contribute to a positive atmosphere by embodying our values of agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and working collaboratively with integrity.

Pay Rate: $22.68 / Hour

Sat 01:00 AM - 08:00 AM
Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

Responsibilities:

    Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, which may include areas related to aerospace and defense operations.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist in maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity within the location.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders as situations arise.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance required.
  • Maryland Security Professional Guard Card preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
