As a Security Professional - Armed Telecom Patrol in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a dynamic tech environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This armed post requires you to carry out routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. Your role is crucial in supporting a secure atmosphere for staff and visitors in a fast-paced, technology-driven location.

Pay Rate: $28.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Carry out security procedures and follow site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients and visitors in a tech-focused environment.
• Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise within the location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity or potential threats, reporting observations according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and any actions taken during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, or military in an armed capacity.
• Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License as required by California state law.
• Must have a California Weapons Permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement.
• Must have an Armed Security Professional License for the state of California.
• Must have an Armed Designation as required by the post.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Must participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
