What You'll Do:
The Manager, Treasury position is for an experienced and highly motivated finance professional that is ready to take on a leadership role within a high-performing Treasury team. Triton has over $7 billion of debt consisting of investment grade bonds, asset-backed securitizations and bank loans. As a manager in the Treasury group, you will have responsibility to lead across the entire range of our Treasury activities including capital markets, analysis and planning, and cash management. The Treasury Manager will also be responsible for managing, overseeing, and mentoring junior staff within the Treasury team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing new and existing financings:
- Ongoing review of capital markets to optimize execution of Triton's financings.
- Leading preparation of offering materials, responding to diligence requests, coordinating with internal and external accountants and evaluating legal documents.
- Ensuring compliance with all reporting, payment, and collateral requirements of Triton's debt facilities.
- Reviewing analysis and schedules in connection with various SEC filings.
- Leading modeling/analysis efforts:
- Updating and maintaining materials used for internal reporting to senior management.
- Overseeing Asset/Liability management model used to analyze exposure to certain risks (i.e. Interest rate, f/x, etc.)
- Monitoring leverage to ensure compliance with financial covenants and rating agency metrics.
- Forecasting liquidity to ensure adequate borrowing capacity for container investment, dividends, share buybacks and daily operations.
- Preparing ad-hoc analyses based on market conditions and investment opportunities.
- Overseeing cash management:
- Responsibility for daily cash management activities and continuous enhancement of cash management efficiency while ensuring strong internal controls.
- Managing short term cash forecasting to minimize interest expense.
- Administering insurance programs:
- Coordinating preparation of materials needed for policy renewals.
- Working with the legal team to respond to information requests from external or internal partners.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance required, Economics, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of verifiable work experience in Treasury.
- Familiarity with debt financing and associated documentation preferred.
- Cash management-related experience preferred.
- Proven management and mentorship skills.
- Strong proficiency with Excel, specifically Excel Modelling.
- Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to see the bigger picture.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform analytical/mathematical calculations.
- Strong interpersonal skills - must be comfortable working within a team environment and interacting with all levels within the organization.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Must be at a commutable distance (within 50 miles) to the Purchase, NY office
