QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
  • Eight (8) years of experience working in a facilities management operation.
  • Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
Licenses or Certifications
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license and obtain a valid Florida driver's license within thirty (30) days of hire or promotion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project management for the planning, design, and construction of various projects throughout the city.
  • Monitoring progress of the design team and construction vendors/contractors as well as monitoring project status.
  • Managing project requests for additional information, schedule modifications, change orders, and onsite direction.
  • Coordinating construction projects with all involved stakeholders and local, state, Federal agencies as required.
  • Establishing project milestones, goals, and objectives.
  • Developing data points and benchmarks to track efficiencies and productivity of projects and related systems.
